"I have taken 2 Mindfulness & Self-Compassion courses and a Mindful Parenting class with Jamie Lynn (so far) and my only wish is that I had met her sooner! Working with Jamie Lynn, I have learned to be more present and connected in my daily life and interactions with my family and I have gained tools to help me feel more emotionally grounded and balanced. Jamie Lynn’s warmth, openness, empathy and personal experiences make her an effective mindfulness coach."

What parents say:
"Jamie Lynn's mindfulness class was everything I was hoping for and more: fun, inspiring, and inclusive. Jamie Lynn's experiential, playful teaching set the perfect tone for my kids and I to learn about 'mindfulness techniques' without feeling overwhelmed or confused. Jamie Lynn gave us many tools and ideas, and allowed us to leave her class to focus on the ideas and techniques that worked best for us! I highly recommend this class."

“The Wholly Mindful Parent-Child class helped my daughter and me bond in having a shared experience of working together on something so soothing and important to us. We can help each other remember the different strategies and work through difficult emotions together. It is just as much for moms as it is for girls!!” -Jen T.
My daughter and I really looked forward to our time every week with Jamie Lynn. She has such a calming presence and was able to facilitate discussions between my daughter and I that wouldn’t have happened otherwise. Jamie Lynn introduced many very practical strategies to help my daughter and I deal with the stress of life, I feel as if I understand better how to help my daughter get what she needs in order to be happy. -Beth, Whitefish Bay
“[The Wholly Mindful class] feels like kindness.” E.B., Whitefish Bay
"Taking the mindful self-compassion class for teens with my daughter was a powerful experience for me. It was an opportunity to give the priceless gift to my daughter, while at the same time being able to further that compassion within myself.” -Mary N., West Bend
•Jamie Lynn taught me that if I don't practice love and compassion for myself it is difficult to practice it while caring for others. As I become more gentle with myself so I become with the ones around me.
Jamie Lynn playfully teaches simple yet profound truths how to be present with your emotions, befriend them and ultimately let them go. She generously equips you with many tools that you can apply in your daily life and immediately feel positive affects.
I feel like: "Negative emotions? Come on over, I am not afraid of you anymore. I know what to do!"😄 I feel so much gratitude for knowing her.

What teachers say:
•Jamie Lynn is a very knowledgeable and passionate instructor. She has brought experience, energy, and enthusiasm to her courses and has been a positive influence. She is professional and personable, which have made taking McPherson courses with her relevant and pleasant.
My first exposure to mindfulness classes was with Jamie Lynn in her Peace Through Mindfulness course. I took that course along with several of my teaching colleagues. We all learned valuable strategies and techniques we use in our own classrooms and in our personal lives. Because Jamie Lynn is well-researched and brought a passionate approach to this very needed course, I signed up for more of her classes: Mindful Self Compassion and Mindful Tools for Daily Life (.b). These classes have provided tools and techniques I continue to implement into my lessons and my everyday practices.
As an educator, I have found these course offerings to be useful and valuable not only to my profession but also to my daily life. In using Jamie Lynn's mindfulness strategies and techniques in my classes, I have noticed that my own students have become more peaceful and less stressful or wrought with anxieties, I have become more mindful in my teaching practices and in my relationships, and I have become more intentional in practicing kindness and self-compassion.
I look forward to taking more courses with Jamie Lynn in the near future!

•I have learned much from Jamie Lynn’s Mindfulness and Self Compassion classes. She shares her wisdom and knowledge freely, and creates a space for learning that is comforting and safe. I have learned to become aware and experience my own feelings from within and that has been a powerful lesson for me. Through the lessons learned from Jamie, I am continuing the process of knowing how to be still and listen to my heart and body, and to cultivate a sense of compassion for myself.
