About Compassionate Parenting: Help Children Grow Self-Compassion Compassionate Parenting: Help Children Grow Self-Compassion is designed to be taken concurrently or after completing Mindful Self-Compassion training or other self-compassion related trainings. This training addresses the 4 "S's" of attachment: seen, safe, soothed, and secure. The course explores the relationship between a caregiver's level of self-compassion and the level of self-compassion in youth. Caregivers learn how they can best cultivate self-compassion both in children and themselves. About this training •Applies to relationships with children, teens and even adults (all relationships) •Integrates practices from Mindful Self-Compassion training (designed for self-compassion training graduates) •Incorporates ideas from the Power of Showing Up by Tina Payne-Bryson and Daniel Siegel •Helps us to provide the 4 S’s of attachment for both ourselves and our children/students "Jamie Lynn is a very knowledgeable and passionate instructor.
