What does it mean to communicate mindfully?
As human beings we are wired to be social, and communication is a building block for increasing positive connection in our lives.
Effective communication requires being present and attending to the nuances of feelings and needs that lie below the surface of our conversations. This class integrates mindful communication skills and empathy (including self-empathy) training.
Mindful Communication training will enable you to:
* Increase your capacity to speak and listen mindfully (with presence)
* Understand how to effectively respond to feelings
* Broaden your conflict resolution strategies
* Make skillful requests
* Focus on underlying needs to build connection
