Please read the below participant agreement. You must click "I agree," in order to proceed to the payment page and reserve your spot in the upcoming Self-Compassion for Children and Caregivers Training.
Participants in the Self-Compassion for Children and Caregivers teacher training are responsible for watching two one-hour training videos and reading two sessions from the teacher training guide before attending each of the live-online teacher training session. This is a total of six one-hour videos with the corresponding written lessons in the teacher guide over the course of the three live-online trainings.
After finishing the three live-online teacher training sessions, participants will be considered Self-Compassion for Children and Caregivers teachers-in-training. In order to complete the teacher training process, participants must teach the course (to a group or an individual child) and complete three mentorship sessions with Jamie Lynn Tatera. The cost of the three mentorship sessions is included with the cost of the live-online teacher training.
You will be given the 2021 version of the Self-Compassion for Children and Caregivers Teacher Guide. The Self-Compassion for Children and Caregivers program was developed by Jamie Lynn Tatera in 2020, and is continually being updated and revised based on the feedback of self-compassion for children and caregivers teachers.
The teacher’s guide is designed to provide a framework for teaching self-compassion to children and their caregivers. This same framework can also be used to teach self-compassion to teachers and students or groups of children. It is my sincere hope that each self-compassion for children and caregivers teacher will bring their own unique strengths, experience, voice and heart to this material.
Fair Use of the Teacher Guide
The Self-Compassion for Children and Caregivers Teacher guide is only available to trained Self-Compassion for Children and Caregivers teachers. Please do not give the teacher guide to anyone who has not taken the Self-Compassion for Children and Caregivers teacher training. Also, please do not copy and/or distribute any materials from the Teacher Guide.
