Please read the below participant agreement. You must click "I agree," in order to proceed to the payment page and reserve your spot in the upcoming Path to Resilience class.
The Path to Resilience Foundations course will be hosted using the PowerSchool Learning platform. A week before the course begins, you will be given an invitation and passcode to join our PowerSchool learning site. Your username and passcode is for your individual use only.
You will have access to the Path to Resilience Foundations videos during the eight-week class and for an additional four weeks after the course is complete. If you would like to repeat the training in the future, you will be able to take the course a second time for no additional cost.
The Path to Resilience Foundations course is designed to equip participants with emotional resilience. You are invited to engage with the course content to the degree that feels right for you. While this training has therapeutic value, it is not a therapeutic intervention designed to treat mental health, behavioral or medical conditions nor is it a substitute for one. If you are working with a therapist or other clinician, please discuss participation in this program with that professional.
Participants who choose to partake in the "parents and educators" component of the Path to Resilience training are responsible for purchasing their own copy (or audiobook) of the Whole-Brain Child by Daniel Siegel and Tina Payne Bryson.
In addition to the Path to Resilience foundations videos, there is also a mindful movement video for each of the eight weeks. You are encouraged to honor your body's strengths and limitations when you engage in mindful movement.
Liability waiver for mindful movement:
I hereby agree to the following:
1.I am participating in classes or services during which I will receive information and instruction about mindful movement. I recognize that mindful movement requires physical exertion, which may cause physical injury, and I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.
2.I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding my participation in any physical fitness program, including mindful movement.
3.In consideration of being permitted to participate in the mindful movement classes, I agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known and unknown, which I might incur as a result of participating in the program.
4.In further consideration of being permitted to participate in the mindful movement classes, I knowingly, voluntarily, and expressly waive any claim I may have against the instructor for injuries or damages that I may sustain as a result of participating in classes or workshops.
5. I have read the above release and waiver of liability and fully understand its contents. I voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above.
